The ESICM „EXPLORATION“ Survey

The results of the ESICM „EXPLORATION“ survey have just been published in ICMX and included in the collection „Blood purification in sepsis“.

Overall, cytokine adsorption was the blood purification method most frequently employed in clinical practice. However, both the best existing clinical evidence endorsing its current use as well the highest potential to be explored in future clinical trials was attributed to therapeutic plasma exchange.
