We investigate Sepsis and ARDS from a "bench to bedside and back to the bench" approach. While our focus lies on immune dysreguation and endothelial injury when in the lab. Our research interest shifts to the evaluation of existing treatment approaches, with a special enthusiasm for ECMO, and exploration of novel extracorporeal therapeutic modalities when at the bedside.
